Sorry Emeril...

While I have tremendous respect for the chef and have actually visited several of his restaurants, I just don't "groove" on his over-the-top dishes. I enjoy simple and delicate flavor that are fresh and can be enjoyed, at first individually and then allowed to come together for that "ah -ha" head nodding, "I get it" moment. So many people have asked me for recipes over the years (which is quite flattering) so, this is the purpose of my blog; to put out there my simple, fresh, flavorful recipes for all to enjoy. I do a have a bit of a secret though that will make these posts a little challenging....I really don't have TRUE recipes. It's more of finding a recipe combination that sounds interesting, using it as a guideline and trusting my palate as to what can be changed or modified to make it really great. So follow me on this culinary journey as I post my favorites new and old!
